PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
On behalf of the Governing Council of the Presbyterian Women’s College of Education, Aburi and Management, I welcome you to join us in our forward match towards the achievement of recognition within our competitive academic community.
As a female College of Education, we want to improve upon the performance of our noble institution not only on building on courses and quality of programmes, but also maintaining and improving the reputation as women of substance in our globalised world. We are therefore committed to upholding our Presbyterian discipline as a mission school, and excellence in teaching and research.
As the Principal of the College, I am therefore determined to build on our enviable prestige as a highly-sought female College of Education in Ghana to become the very best centre of discipline, teaching and research. I am also determined to ensure that our governance structures and support systems work effectively and efficiently to achieve our core values of Discipline, Teamwork, Inclusiveness, Academic Excellence, Spiritual Upliftment and Commitment as a College.
The College offers three main Bachelor of Education programmes; Primary Education, Early Grade Education and Junior High School Education. The College is however looking forward to expanding its programmes to attract more students. With the massive infrastructural expansion projects which have been embarked upon by the College, the expansion in our programmes will not be a challenge.
We have enough lecture halls, standard ICT laboratory, Early Grade Centre, enough residential facilities, etc. We also have well-qualified faculty to help you realise your goal of attaining higher teacher education. Above all, we are blessed with very good weather because of our location. This makes our College a good destination for meaningful academic work.
My doors are open to all members and staff and will always remain so. I promise you that, there will be opportunities for personal growth and development for anybody who is ready to join us. I, therefore, encourage you to enroll and take the bold step towards a life changing teacher educational enterprise at the Presbyterian Women’s College of Education, Aburi.
It is my advice that, we all observe the COVID-19 Protocols.
Go Forth and Shine.
Mrs. Cynthia Anim
