Aburi, July 10, 2025 – As part of its ongoing social responsibility and mentorship initiative, the Presbyterian College of Education (PWCE), Aburi has donated a range of essential items to Presbyterian Senior High School, Coaltar.
The donation comprised forty-five bunk beds, ten swivel chairs, a projector, and a desktop computer, all aimed at enhancing both the academic and administrative work of the school.
Presenting the items on behalf of the College, the Principal, Mrs. Cynthia Anim, described the gesture as the College’s “widow’s mite” to support a sister Presbyterian institution. She expressed hope that the donation would significantly improve teaching, learning, and overall conditions at the school.
Receiving the items, the Headmaster of Presbyterian Senior High School, Coaltar, Mr. Mr. Eric K. Addo-Agyarkwa, accompanied by his Assistant Headmaster, Rev. Joshua Owusu-Ansah, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the timely support. He noted that the items would go a long way to strengthen the school’s facilities and commended PWCE for its consistent commitment to uplifting other Presbyterian schools.
This donation is part of a broader outreach initiative by the College. In the course of the year, PWCE has extended similar support to Akuapem Mampong Presbyterian Senior High School, Adeiso Presbyterian Senior High School, Aburi Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, and the PWCE Demonstration Basic School.
Present at the brief presentation ceremony were key members of the College’s Management Team, including Mr. Francis Tetteh-Osei, Vice Principal; Rev. William Ameka, College Registrar; Mr. Bernard Baah Duah, College Finance Officer and Mr. Lawrence Danso-Boadu, Internal Auditor.
