Department of Languages

Welcome to the Department of Languages of the Aburi Women’s College of Education. Currently, the Department has seven tutors: two males and five females. The Department offers English and Ghanaian Language courses. The Ghanaian Language courses are Akwapim Twi and Ga. Our English courses are mostly core courses while the Ghanaian Language courses are elective.

We have seasoned and dedicated members of the Department who are constantly enriching their academic profiles through research and professional development programmes, and put the students at the centre of the learning process. Students who go through our courses every semester have refreshing testimonies about our tutors.

On behalf of the Principal of the College, we welcome you to our department.
